Escape room

2021

Ventiquattro Elle is the first escape room inspired by the work of Gianni Rodari, an experience for 2 to 6 people that in 90 minutes of play pays homage to the author's creativity and inventiveness, taking its cue from the novel C’era due volte il barone Lamberto (Lamberto, Lamberto, Lamberto).Ventiquattro Elle is now available in Omegna, Piedmont, within the context of the Rodari Museum.

A ramshackle gang of thieves, Ventiquattro Elle (Twenty-Four Elles), has devised a plan to steal the chest where the Baron, “born again” at age 13 in the original story’s finale and now about to retire after a career as a circus performer, keeps his treasures.

The players are in the lair, where everything is ready for the big heist: too bad that the gang’s hacker, the only one who knows the codes to get past the security system, took the day off on the very day of the heist!

Five large chests-cabinets hold the objects that tell the story of Lamberto’s life in circus caravans around the world: 9 puzzles to read, touch, listen to.

Linking up from the lair with the other twenty-three Elles, already in the baron’s mansion, the players must guide the group of thieves through a digital interface between videos, clues, and aids.

The escape room was first active between October 2021 and October 2022 in the Pietro Ceretti public library, in Verbania. Enriching the project is a mural created in collaboration with Muralestremo in the district of Suna.
